TerraNova

Modular Robotic Arm System

The TerraNova Modular Robotic Arm System is rigorously engineered to be a highly customizable solution for all your robotic needs. Leveraging Novium's M-Series suite of modular robotic components as building blocks, you can work with a Novium engineer to design an arm as unique as your application — from a simple, position-controlled, two-degree-of-freedom system to a complex, seven-degree-of-freedom arm equipped with six-axis force sensing and computer vision.

Each M-Series module is equipped with Novium's quick-connect interface, enabling lightning-fast assembly and the seamless internal transmission of power, data, and fluid or air between modules — eliminating complex external cable and hose routing. Because it's modular, your TerraNova system can be upgraded, replaced, or reconfigured to evolve with your needs rather than being replaced outright.

Modular Robotic Arm Components

M-Series products are the building blocks of the TerraNova arm. With a fully modular architecture, they combine via a common quick-connect interface that provides structural connection and the internal transfer of power, data, and fluids or gases between modules — so you can quickly build a robotic solution tailored to your application.

Servo Actuators

Servo Actuators

TerraFlex

TerraFlex servo actuators put the arm into motion, with an integrated motor controller, power-off brake, slip ring, and continuous 360° rotation.

Booms

Booms

TerraLink

TerraLink booms form straight connections between modules, passing power, data, and fluid or air internally and available in a range of lengths.

Load Cells

Load Cells

TerraSense

TerraSense 6-axis load cells deliver precise force and torque feedback in all six degrees of freedom for advanced, responsive control.

Elbows

Elbows

TerraLink

TerraLink elbows form right-angle connections between modules, letting you shape the geometry of your arm to fit the application.

Bases

Bases

TerraLink

The TerraLink base anchors the system to external structure and feeds power, data, and fluid or air into the arm.

Computing

Computing

TerraCore

The TerraCore base station converts power, processes data, issues commands, and directs fluid or air; controlling every aspect of the system.
